Group Discussion

グループに分かれて５つの質問について話し合いました。
ほとんどの答えは、日本人だから外国人だからといった意見の違いはなく、
個人で違う意見がでてました。
　しかし、ladies firstについては外国人は積極的、日本人は消極的だと異国で頻度の差がでました。
私はladies firstに賛成なので、外国人を見習って積極的にladies firstをしていこうと思います☆彡

    Thanks Kei. Actually, this result is not what I expected. I thought more of the exchange students would see "ladies first" as old fashion. I think many feminists would say that the idea should not be "ladies first" but "men and women are equal". My impression is that "ladies first" is based on the idea that men have to take care of women. This is does not fit well with the idea of equality.
